Large Geometric Disc Pendant Necklace
The Curiosity
We'd quite like to know where this came from.
A large silver-coloured disc, covered in punched dots, crosses, circles and raised geometric shapes, hanging from a simple long chain. Turn it over and the marks and wear are still there. Nothing about it is polished or precious — and that's rather the point.
There are echoes of traditional folk metalwork in the design, but there are no marks and no provenance to tell us who made it or where. So we're not going to give it an exotic backstory it hasn't earned.
What we do know is that it's a brilliant object.
At 5cm across, the pendant is substantial without being heavy, and the long continuous chain means it simply slips over the head. Against black, white or a great oversized shirt, all those tiny punched details suddenly become very graphic.
